This site was created in December, 2009 to keep an up-to-date list of all the pinball machines in New York City. At the time, there was no up-to-date site. As of January, 2010, there are just 60 known public pinball machines left in New York City. In 1977 there were an estimated 10,000 (NYT, Jan 23, 1977. "Pinball goes electric.")

How to Edit

This is wiki site anybody can edit. Please do.

To edit a page, simply click the "edit" link on the top right or bottom left of the page. Find the text you want to change, and replace it with the updated text. It's that easy! When you're done, click save. If you want, you can learn more about basic editing.

Format for Listings

If inserting a new pinball location, please use the following format:
Location: Place five explanation points "!!!!!" before location listing line to make it a subheading so it will be listed in the table of contents. Enter one carriage-return after this line to end the subheading.
Address: Enter the address (with details in parenthesis). End this and all other lines (except the first) with two backslashes "\\".
Game: Precede and follow game name with 3 apostrophes ''' for bold.
Condition: Whatever you think
Comments: Include one comment section for location (not game). But you can type as much as you want!
Updated: Include the date of your visit and your name/handle
(To keep one blank line between listings, there should be 2 blank lines (ie: 3 carriage returns) between listings in the edit page.)
